Gabriella was pursuing her education in broadcast journalism, but could no longer take attention away from her true love…COOKING! She then went on to complete her Culinary Arts Degree at the Culinary Institute of America. During her studies there she worked for multiple catering companies, cooked as a private residence chef and a la cart chef at a private Yacht and Golf community. Her passion is now her full time career and her goal is to explore this passion in each and every dish she creates for her catering clients.

It has been almost a year since my husband and I got married. I have been reflecting recently on photos and experiences. J.Baldwin’s was recommended to us by a client and we could not be more thrilled by our experience. We worked very closely with Gabriella, who took great care to ensure that every detail was perfect. As a bride, I changed my mind a thousand times, and she was so incredibly gracious and thoughtful. We received so many wonderful compliments on the food, presentation and staff. We are looking forward to working with the staff (Gabriella) again in the future.

Michael Baldwin – Research and Development Chef

If you’ve been coming to J.Baldwin’s for awhile, you probably already know the name Michael Baldwin. He is the youngest son of owner and chef, Jeff Baldwin. Following in his dad’s footsteps, Michael also graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the Culinary Institute of America, and returned home to support the running of the restaurant with his parents.

As the Research and Development Chef, Michael is constantly dreaming up new ways to give you the best culinary dining experience!

I hosted a baby shower last weekend and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a venue for an event. They say the best thing a host/hostess can do is be relaxed. The staff took care of every detail before I could anticipate the need. I was able to relax and enjoy it. They have more experience in entertaining than I, and moved about seamlessly being attentive but not intrusive. Their service was so exceptional that I heard pleased comments from some of my guests. Anyone who has ever dined here knows the quality of the food goes without saying.


Jordan ShieldsJordan Shields – Catering and Event Manager

Jordan is the newest member of J.Baldwin’s Catering team. Jordan graduated with a Business Management degree in 2013, and was previously employed at a Country Club as the Club Manager and Event Coordinator. She has experience in multiple aspects of the industry and has discovered her passion is Weddings as well as Event Sales and Coordinating!

Jordan will be sure to make your day special whether it is a wedding, shower, corporate event or birthday party. She will help make it perfect from start to finish and one for you and your guests to remember!

JBaldwins is amazing! I mean it. We had our wedding shower in the restaurant and everything was perfect. I heard all day how great the food was and my guests were very happy. They also catered our wedding at the Packing Proving Grounds. They packaged up the food that was left and we were able to take it home and enjoy it for a few more days! Mr. Baldwin himself attended our reception to make sure everything was outstanding. We wanted to thank Jordan, Carmen and the rest of the wonderful staff for making our wedding shower and wedding day everything we hoped for and so delicious.

Carmen Bryant – Catering Director
Carmen has been with J.Baldwin’s for nearly 11 years, and she also serves as the General Manager for the restaurant. Carmen enjoys splitting her time between running day-to-day operations of the restaurant, and meeting with new catering clients.

Brian Herbon – Bar and Beverage Director
Brian recently celebrated his 11th anniversary with J.Baldwin’s. He has taken training to become a Sommelier, and can take care of all of your beverage needs. Need the perfect wine recommendation? Just ask Brian!

Rosemarie Baldwin – Proprietor and Chief Marketing Officer
After more than 10 years as the unofficial marketing director of J.Baldwin’s Restaurant, Rosemarie Baldwin has left her Executive position with Macy’s Department Stores and joined the J.Baldwin’s Restaurant Group. She is already growing the catering business and helping to develop new menus.
